Artificial sweeteners, like diet Coke, can be harmful to a pregnancy if ingested in large quantities despite the fact that they have no calories. Still, using these artificial sweeteners regularly can increase your risk of developing diabetes. Take note of your daily consumption and adjust accordingly.
8 Unpasteurized Milk
Listeria can thrive in unpasteurized milk. For the sake of your health and the health of your unborn child, you should only drink pasteurized milk while pregnant.
Multiple studies have linked caffeine consumption to an increased risk of miscarriage. During the first trimester, you should avoid coffee completely. However, small amounts of caffeine can be consumed safely all the way through your pregnancy.
